Welcome to the Croft Street Community Centre (St. Swithin's) web site.

The centre has been at the heart of Lincoln's community life for over 50 years, providing good facilities for social, educational and sporting activities for the benefit of local residents and the wider community.

Built in 1954, the centre is an independant charitable trust (registered charity no. 521948) run by a small committee and a centre worker.

We are financed from our lettings and occasional improvement grants.

Recent improvements to the centre include a new Men's Toilet Block with a fully Disabled Access toilet.

Our stage is fully equipped with a high quality lighting and sound system.

The front and rear yard are beautifully landscaped with features designed by local school children. Whilst the blockpaving offers safe parking at the front of the building. Now available, limited private car parking spaces Mon - Fri (office hours only) £15. Daily - £4. Only 5 minutes from the City Centre.

Our hall is available for hire for a wide range of social events including children's parties, games evenings, public meetings as well as live theatre and music.

Hall hire costs from £10 per hour or you can hire a meeting room from £7 per hour. The hall area is 50ft x 20ft, plus stage, and is licensed to hold 210 persons for dancing and 125 persons for seated events.
