Welcome to the Croft Street Community Centre (St. Swithin's) web site.

The centre has been at the heart of Lincoln's community life for over 50 years, providing good facilities for social, educational and sporting activities for the benefit of local residents and the wider community.

Built in 1954, the centre is an independant charitable trust run by a small committee and a centre worker.

We are financed from letting our rooms for social activities, grant aid and charitable donations.

The new front gates, designed by local schoolchildren.

Recent improvements to the centre include the redecoration of the hall, kitchen and toilets as well as equipping the stage with a high quality lighting and sound system.

The front yard has been beautifully landscaped with safe parking and new gates designed by local school children and funded by the City of Lincoln Council and Cory.

More recent grant aid has allowed us to transform our rear yard with block-paving, play equipment for toddlers, lovely planted borders and a welcome rest area.

Our hall is available for hire for a wide range of social events including children's parties, games evenings, public meetings as well as live theatre and music.

Hall hire costs from £10 per hour or you can hire a meeting room from £7 per hour. The hall area is 50ft x 20ft, plus stage, and is licensed to hold 210 persons for dancing and 125 persons for seated events.

For more information about hiring our hall please contact us.
