AUTUMN

Join Our Sculpture Project

From Saturday 11th September

If you are a user of the centre or live locally then we would like to invite you to our FREE wood carving sessions starting Saturday, 11th September.
Help create a beautiful 8ft high sculpture, under the guidance of two trained artists.

Suitable for all ages, although under 12's should be accompanied by a parent or guardian. No experience needed.

 Abbey Play Group

Local mums have got together to form the Abbey Playgroup and they offer morning sessions from Monday to Friday during term time. Qualified staff and OFSTED registered. For more information contact play leader Caron Lavelle on (01522) 534614, or Natasha Keilty on (01522) 805129.

 Abbey Youthie

Tuesdays from 7pm to 9pm. A membership club for local youngsters aged between 10 and 16 years. Games, table tennis, music, snack bar and hot food. Contact Bev Smith on 07988 229720 for more information.

 Alcoholics Anonymous

Alcoholics Anonymous meeting held from 2.30 - 4.30pm every Saturday. For more information contact Dave on 01522 874964.

 The Diamond Project

A E.U. funded project. A free to users arts and crafts activities group that seeks to address barriers to education, training & employment by tapping into a person's natural creativity. Gamblers Anonymous open, drop-in meeting on Wednesday evenings at 7pm. 24hr helpline available on 0114 262 0026.

 Headway

Lincolnshire Support Group meeting here every first and third Tuesday of the month between 10am and 1pm. Anyone with a brain injury, or their family , friends & carers are welcome to call in for information, advice and support.

 Lincoln Gamelan Collective

Sundays from 6pm to 8pm. Come and learn to play the Gamelan. The Gamelan is a set of tuned percussion instrucments originating from Indonesia. Newcomers are very welcome, regardless of ability or experience.  Private Booking

There is a private closed group booking at the Centre between 7.30 and 9.30pm on Friday evenings.

 Stained Glass Class

Every Wednesday evening, starting at 7pm. Newcomers warmly welcomed, either with or without experience of the craft. Further details available from Dorothy Keys on (01522) 702939.

 Table Tennis

Regular Monday evening table tennis sessions for 16yrs old and upwards. 6pm until 8pm, £3 per session. Also Saturday morning sessions from 10am until noon. Newcomers welcome. For more information call (01522) 852907. Tables can also be used at other times by arrangement for £5 per hour.

 Taoist Tai Chi

Thursdays at 7.30pm. Class returns on 24th September. Contact Paul Rapetti on 01522 519432 for more information.

Want to volunteer?

Volunteers are wanted to assist with the running of the centre, with times to fit in with your availability. There are presently opportunities for minor maintenance work, gardening, administration and promoting the centre. You must be 18 years or older. Please contact us if you are interested in volunteering.
